
At the Variety Entertainment Marketing Summit (via IGN), Warner Bros. chief marketing officer Shauna Spenley explained the studio’s strategy and approach.
“game of Thrones Is this incredible IP that seems infinite in some ways,” Spenley explained. “And we saw that just a few months ago knight of the seven kingdomsWhich is actually a lighter fare of that IP, going supernova all over the world. And so there’s clearly a lot of demand. I think this theatrical effort will be no exception. dragon house Coming later this summer.”
Spangley continued. “So, now it feels like it actually has an audience that has long-term expectations. Again, habitual expectations. They don’t really want to wait a few years for every installment.”
Luckily, the wheels are already in motion. dragon house Season three is coming soon, as the executive said, and a knight of the seven kingdoms Season two is due out next year (weather permitting). Also, a game of Thrones A film focusing on Aegon’s conquest is also in its early stages.
Does this mean we’ll soon get concrete announcements on additional game of Thrones TV spin-off too? If so then there are certainly plenty to choose from. and we will be thrilled With confirmation of a third season a knight of the seven kingdoms If Warner Bros. is accepting the request.
