lord of the universe One of the biggest question marks heading into the summer movie season. On the one hand, its director is Travis Knight bumblebeeBringing an iconic 80s franchise to the big screen with all the bells and whistles. This sounds like a lot of fun. But it’s opening on a tough weekend, we don’t know if modern audiences will care about a muscle-bound franchise, and then there’s also the villain.

Everyone knows He-Man’s main rival is Skeletor, and he’s in full effect lord of the universe. In fact, in this movie, things start off with Skeletor’s victory and rule over Eternia. The issue is that Skeletor is played by the controversial and polarizing actor Jared Leto. And although we don’t see Leto’s face in the movie, everyone wants to know what his skeleton will be like.

Well, this week, MGM has released two new featurettes for the film that show off all the heroes and villains we can expect to see in theaters on June 5th. This is one of He-Man’s sidekicks, and, in the villain-focused video, we get a good portion of Skeletor. Check it out.

There’s also a second featurette focused on the heroes, and it’s pretty cool. That Ram Mana moment is amazing.

We’ll have to wait and see if this movie is as good as we want and hope it will be, but these new clips definitely look like it has that potential.

The cast includes Nicolas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Johannes Hawkur Johannesson, Charlotte Riley, Kristen Wiig, Jared Leto and Idris Elba. lord of the universe Opens June 5.
