“Something’s about to happen,” Doctor Doom says. “Something we may not be able to stop.” We see an image of him kneeling and looking towards the sky. “Before this day is over, we will face an unimaginable decision.”
We cut to Avengers Tower, which looks brand new with the big red and white A on the front. Thor is speaking. “I have fought many warriors in my time,” he begins, surrounded by the Thunderbolts, Captain America, Bucky, Ant-Man and others. “They were far stronger than all of us. And they dead”
Thor continues, “They died facing enemies and threats of which I was far less afraid.” This is intercut with the Fantastic Four arriving at the tower. Shots of Shuri and several Wakandans, including M’Baku and Namor. We see them meeting the Thing and a few others. It features a brief shot of Thor arriving on a large field and Doom standing in the distance.
Thor’s statement reads, “Their sacrifice would have meant nothing if we had not stood together.” “Put aside your petty disputes. Don’t think about anything else – if you return, you will return as brothers and sisters.”
We see Cyclops blasting off his balcony and into a room. Shang-Chi and Gambit battle somewhere. We see Mystique transform into Yelena as they fight. Ant-Man says goodbye to his daughter Cassie. Namor flies around screaming. Sue Storm screams as a huge wave rises over her.
Finally, Thor jumps in and brings Stormbreaker down on Doom, who easily stops him. “But mark my words: We’ll need a miracle,” he says. “Hey buddy,” suddenly comes a familiar voice from off the screen.
“That’s not possible,” says a shocked Thor. He catches Mjolnir and it flies into the other person’s hand. This is Steve Rogers.
