Starting Thursday, two Toledo Council members will hold a series of meetings to identify issues facing tenants in hopes that can lead to policy solutions.
TOLEDO, Ohio – Two Toledo council members are hoping to hear from people who rent their homes in the city.
At-Large Councilperson Dr. Brittany Jones, and Councilperson Theresa Gades, who represent District 3, will hold their “Our Home, Our Rights: Renters Take the Mic Forum” on Thursday, April 23.
Tenants and other stakeholders are asked to bring forward their concerns about the local housing system, in the hope that dialogue can inform policy and lead to solutions.
The meeting will be held at the Reynolds Corners Branch Library, located at 4833 Door St., from 6 to 7 p.m.
