The Talos Principle 3 Will Wrap Up The Series

Fans of philosophical puzzle games, rejoice: The Talos Principle is going to be a trilogy. Developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital promise this Talos principle 3 “Will test your brain with all new challenges.”

Talos principle 3 Will conclude the story that began in the original 2014 and continues through 2023 Talos principle 2. (Last year also saw a ground-up remake of the first game, Talos Principle: Reawakened.)

The game’s creators aren’t revealing many details just yet, but they have outlined how the game will play out. “As if awakening from a troubled sleep, you find yourself in a strange, paradoxical world of crumbling temples and abandoned science outposts: the Anomaly, the only place in the universe where the laws of physics no longer work as they should. Your memories are fragmented, but you know you are here for a reason.”

This third entry will feature over a dozen worlds with “increasingly complex puzzles,” which seems par for the course. Some more information has been added to the Steam listing, which promises “both familiar and brand new mechanics.” Environments “range from a desert planet to the beautiful gardens of Elysium.”

We don’t know yet when Talos principle 3 will be coming, but Devolver says it will have more to share “soon.” In the meantime, you can watch the teaser trailer below. When it launches, the series finale will be available on PC and PS5.
