Despite this being Amazon’s official shopping festival for Prime members, many other retailers run major counter-sales to try to capitalize on some of that consumer traffic. By the way, Amazon Prime Day runs from June 23 to 26 in 2026. Most competing sales overlap these dates to some degree, but many last longer and/or start before Amazon’s big day. Best Buy is running a week-long “Tech Fest” sale from June 22 to 28 in 2026. It has historically been Amazon’s biggest competitor when it comes to tech deals, with Amazon literally being better than Cent Buy in many cases. Still, if you’re looking for a laptop, TV, gaming gear, or small appliances, Best Buy is the right place to shop. Overall the retailer’s inventory in these departments is more extensive. Needless to mention, Best Buy often stocks older devices that Amazon no longer has available. For example, check out this $300 discount on the exclusive Apple M4 MacBook Air.

The competing Prime Day Walmart Summer Deals event will run from June 22 to 28, coinciding with Best Buy’s sale. Previous Walmart sales have revealed some excellent deals on Apple accessories, budget TVs (including the cheapest QLED TV we saw last Prime Day), floor care from top brands like Dyson and Shark, toys (including Lego), and surprisingly good outdoor gear.

Target is going head-to-head with Amazon this year, with its Circle Deal Days event running from June 23 to 26. Like Amazon, you have to be a Circle member to shop for the best deals. Unlike Amazon, it’s free to join. Like previous Circle Shopping events, this year’s Counter-Prime Day sale at Target will feature “Deal of the Day” offers that are only available for 24 hours. Keep track of these each day. Other notable offers include up to 45% off select kitchen gadgets from Cuisinart, Keurig and Ninja, up to 45% off floor care from Bissell and Hoover, 40% off back-to-school essentials and 40% off select women’s clothing and beauty items.

Home Depot started a Father’s Day sale earlier this month, and it ends on Mid-Prime Day on June 24. From there, things will transition into the July 4 sale and run through July 8. If you’re looking for cordless tools, lawn care equipment, outdoor cooking gear, or DIY tools and storage, this is the sale to shop. The early deals already include a free cordless DeWalt tool, and we’re likely to see more freebies in the coming days.
