Flau’Jay Johnson played her first two WNBA games for the Seattle Storm this weekend following her stellar college career at LSU.

She is already showing growth from game one to game two.
Although neither contest was particularly efficient, Johnson showed on Sunday that she can get over the line to help the Storm defeat the Connecticut Sun.
She finished with 16 points on 3-for-10 shooting from the floor (1-for-3 from 3), along with a 9-for-10 line at the foul line.
Johnson added six rebounds, one assist (one turnover), three steals and one block.
Perhaps most telling is that Johnson was second on the Storm with a plus-11 for the game, behind Dominic Malonga’s plus-15.

However, the funniest part of her day was none of that.
When Johnson drove to the right and dunked into the paint, she did so right behind the greatest center of all-time, Brittney Griner.
As Johnson ran back down the floor, he placed his right hand, palm down, near the floor. She was hitting BG with the “too small” gesture.
This is the third clip of this video:
Everyone already knew this, but Flau’Jae certainly doesn’t lack confidence. She’ll continue to improve as she progresses, but it’s been a solid start through two games, and the Storm have to be happy with what they’ve gotten after working out a WNBA Draft trade to add Johnson to their team.
