As spotted by 9to5google, Samsung has updated the online listing for the very large foldable phone, saying that the “limited run” device is “now completely sold out.” Presumably, this means you won’t be able to get it any time, if ever, in the near future. 9to5google reported that Samsung had never referred to the TriFold as a “limited run” device before this website update.
Now, the site recommends users to look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 7 instead.

The site now reads, “To ensure you don’t miss the unique innovations to come, keep visiting samsung.com and purchase the latest foldable and premium mobile devices from Samsung Galaxy now.”
If you’ve been following the Trifold saga closely, this isn’t much of a surprise. The device, which launched in Asia late last year, made its Western debut at CES in January, and we’re already hearing it may have a limited release by March. Samsung did one final restock online and at a handful of Samsung retail stores across the US in early April, and that seemed to be the end of the line for the Trifold.
Maybe that was the plan all along, or maybe Samsung quickly realized that there was no sustainable way to continue manufacturing nearly $3,000 smartphones in an era of global memory shortages. Despite this, it seems that anyone who wants a Trifold either already has one, or will never get one.
