I read on a Mac, a Windows laptop, and my phone, and no app could follow me on all three. Apple Books is stuck at Apple, Kindle at Amazon, and Caliber is a heavy desktop install. I just wanted to open my own PDFs and PDFs anywhere and keep my highlights with me.
