‘Obsession’ Director Curry Barker’s Next Film Finds a New Home

A few weeks ago, news surfaced that, amid a bidding war, an unnamed studio had made an offer to director Curry Barker of the horror mega-hit Passion$10 million for his next film, even before he’s even pitched it. Now, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Universal and Blumhouse-Atomic Monsters have emerged victorious with an offer the business describes as a “rich eight-figure deal.” Probably, it is worth a little more than $10 million.

Barker will write, produce and direct the upcoming film, which has no release date yet.
