Meg Stalter infiltrates 2026 Las Culturistas Culture Awards with a performance of their first single, “Prettiest Girl in America”.
The actress and comedian took over the show with an introduction in which she sounded the alarm, interrupting hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers: “Attention all viewers,” the alert announced, “There have been reports of someone breaking into the pop scene as well as this building. Witnesses have described the suspect as dangerously handsome. Please remain calm.”
Stelter then announced, “Play the track, and nobody’s going to get hurt,” before descending the aisle with a troupe of backup dancers and singing the hilarious lyrics: “But nobody can see beyond my smile / My pain goes for miles and miles / Sometimes I wish I was a server or a barista / But instead / I’m the most beautiful girl in America.”
The performance ended with Stalter beating up his backup dancers, and Yang and Rogers returning to the stage and arresting the comedian for “being”. Very Beautiful!”
Stalter’s “Prettiest Girl in America” was one of five songs nominated for the Culture Award for Record of the Year – and the only nominated song to be released in the year since the 2025 Culture Awards. The only other semi-recent nominee was Addison Rae’s “Fame Is a Gun,” released in May last year, while the others were all from the early 2000s: Tatu’s “All the Things She Said,” Mandy Moore’s “Only Home,” and pokemon theme song.
Stalter, who is best known for her work hacks and Lena Dunham Too much“Prettiest Girl in America” was released in May. The track is set to appear on their debut album, longingWhich doesn’t have a release date yet, but is expected to arrive later this summer.
