Google Photos is launching a new AI-powered feature that you can use to virtually try on clothes you already own. Using the photos in your gallery, Google will create a virtual “wardrobe” that will allow you to mix and match outfits, save your favorite looks, and share them with friends.
A video shared by Google shows how Photos organizes your outfits and individual pieces of clothing into a virtual “wardrobe.” You can browse outfits you’ve been captured wearing, as well as create new outfits by choosing from tops, bottoms, skirts, dresses, and shoes to create a new look.
You can also select the button in the lower right corner of each outfit to try it on virtually.
Although Google launched an AI virtual try-on feature last year, it only allowed you to try on the clothes you’re shopping for in search. The new “Wardrobe” feature in Google Photos is being released to Android devices later this summer before expanding to iOS.
