Georgia AG Chris Carr campaigns in Augusta on his run for governor

Augusta, Ga. (wjbf) – Attorney General Chris Carr campaigned across Georgia on Monday, stopping in several cities, including Augusta.

Carr is running for governor in the state.

“This gives me a chance to remind them that there is a better option in this race,” Carr said at that event. “Every day I wake up as governor, I’m going to be focused on good-paying jobs. That means investing in the workforce, education, literacy, infrastructure, a low tax base, giving parents choice in education, tackling affordability issues like housing and health care and education. It’s keeping people safe.”

Carr has served as Attorney General of Georgia since 2018.
