The Storm Prediction Center has increased our risk for a hurricane tonight to level 3.

We’re typically at Level 1 marginal or Level 2 moderate risk, so this is higher than what we’ve seen recently.

All severe weather hazards are present, including high winds, hail, flooding and an isolated tornado risk.

The time for the heaviest storms appears to be after 9 pm to 3 am, but heavy rain may continue through the morning commute.

midweek rain

The risk of flooding increases with several chances of rain both Wednesday and Thursday.
