
Hawley isn’t ready to make any big announcements just yet, but he did tell Deadline a few things in a new interview.
“Let us begin [shooting season two] This summer,” he told the trade. “I did a stage walk today among the props and costumes. Things are happening. “It’s always exciting to watch.”

long termYou tell? “That’s my hope — I have a place where I’m going, but I don’t know how long it’ll take me to get there,” Hawley teased. “Assuming that the price of execution and the audience remain proportional, we can go as long as we want. If we nurture them, these franchises can give back for a very long time.”
As for Dinklage’s role in season two – which Hawley says “expands on the promise of the first” with “more world building” – the showrunner wouldn’t say much, but he did reveal that it’s “a major role” within the ensemble cast. He also promised that we’ll hear more casting news for season two “soon.”
