Cloudback: Automatic backups and restores for Git and Linear

Hi PH 👋, I’m one of the creators of Cloudback. Today I’m bringing my Linear backup support into PH, because Linear is now where a lot of teams keep their entire product context – issues, project decisions, cycle history, planning documents. Losing it overnight is a real risk, and Linear’s native export only covers the table of issues.

Here’s what CloudBack does for a linear workspace:

– Captures 23 data categories per workspace, including issues, projects, cycles, documents, custom views, initiatives, templates, comments, attachments, embedded files, workflow status, labels, teams, members, and the workspace structure itself.
– Restores the entire workspace, not just the data dump – issues, projects, comments and structure are all back in the correct order.
– Snapshot-based backup. Choose any backup, point it to an empty linear workspace, confirm.

👥Who it’s designed for:
– Engineering and product teams are running their entire roadmap in Linear.
– Security and compliance teams who need backup evidence for SOC 2 audits.
– Founders who will lose months of context if their workplace is destroyed.

🔒 Security:
– AES-256 archives, customer-managed encryption keys via RSA lockbox.
– SOC 2 Type II Compliant.
– Cloudback managed storage in five regions, or bring your own storage in Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud, OneDrive, Wasabi, Alibaba OSS, and OpenStack Swift.
– Audit logs, Vanta integration, and much more.

Every plan starts with a free trial, so you can run full backup and restore drills before paying anything.
