Bedford train passenger describes crash


British Transport Police have confirmed that emergency services are at the scene of a collision between two trains in the Bedford area.

Operator East Midlands Railway says its services are also being affected by the incident.

Footage taken from the scene shows where two trains collided and passengers were evacuated.

Speaking to the BBC, passenger Pete Knapp said the crash “felt like (he) had been in a bomb explosion”.
