Garth Hamilton kicks himself out of QT after outcry

liberal mp garth hamilton After saying “bullshit” during the debate, he was seen dramatically walking out of the chamber.

Minister of Emergency Management, Christy McBainNine was referring to a newspaper story which reported that Angus Taylor had been accused of claiming that authorities deliberately allowed the devastating 2003 Snowy Mountains bushfires to burn because they were in a wilderness area.

McBain says:

When she speaks, Hamilton swears, slams his desk shut, and immediately begins to storm out.

Labor MPs shout and signal for the Speaker to walk out. Hamilton raises his hand, tilts the speaker sharply and then walks out.

Independent Zali Stegall Hamilton was then called upon to “nominate” the House (whereby he would be banned from the chamber for 24 hours).

milton dick Says he didn’t see what happened, but asks everyone to consider their behavior and allows McBain to finish his answer.

A little earlier, Liberal MP Andrew Wallace Even after making a lot of noise, he left the chamber without informing.
