This week we’ve got my colleagues David Pierce and Jay Peters hands-on with Google’s new Gemini AI agent – Spark. Their conclusions are the same: It’s so effective it’s scary. Spark knew that David’s dog was named Frida and he knew Jay’s wife’s maiden name, even though neither of them had explicitly given this information to Google. But what is there to be afraid of? Me It seems like all this stuff is geared toward a future of “productivity,” which is completely missing the mark on what needs to be fixed in our world.
