iPhone users in the United States are experiencing problems accessing the Apple iOS Weather app on Tuesday afternoon.
For millions of iPhone users, checking the standard Apple Weather app is part of their daily routine, but the app isn’t loading for all users. On X and Reddit, confused and frustrated iPhone users are reporting problems with Weather, some saying they can’t remember the app ever shutting down before.

Many Mashable editors in the United States were unable to access the app; However, one of our editors was able to access it, although it took about 10 seconds to load. At the time of this writing, Apple’s online support page shows an active outage with the Weather app.

Mashable reached out to Apple for comment, and we’ll update this story if we hear back.
DownDetector, the platform where users can report errors with popular websites and apps, does not have a page for the Weather app. However, DownDetector shows a sudden increase in both The Weather Channel app and Apple support.
Internet outages have become a common occurrence over the past year, but major outages within the Apple ecosystem are rare.
