Meanwhile, Wear OS 7 brings live updates and better battery life to smartwatches, and it prepares connections for the new Android XR smart glasses that will launch this autumn.
The update is being released first to Pixel phones, then to other devices, with some features like Gemini Intelligence set to debut later this year.
