Katie Dippold Knows You Want More Rosemary and Dale on ‘Widow’s Bay’

Widows Bay Rosemary Dale

there’s a lot to love Widow’s BayIncluding, but not limited to, its excellent unique characters. Everyone who lives on the Cursed Island is a little weird, and the people who work with Mayor Tom Loftis at the Widow Bay Town Hall are excellent examples of this. We all love Patricia, and season one anticipated this, giving her two standout episodes of her own. But what about cult-favorite side characters Dale and Rosemary? We need more!

Widow’s Bay Creator, showrunner and executive producer Katie Dippold is with us. If she didn’t know ahead of time that odd couple Dale (played by Jeff Hiller) and Rosemary (played by Dale Dickey) would captivate audiences, she definitely knows now.

Speaking further with The Hollywood Reporter Widow’s Bay At the conclusion of season one, Dippold outlined some of his hopes for the show’s recently announced second season.

“A big part of the fun in the writers’ room was that we thought a lot about the history of the island and what’s happening from the founding to today,” he said. “There were a lot of things we couldn’t do or we decided not to do yet. Between that and the characters we have, there’s a lot. I would love to do a Rosemary episode for Dale Dickey, a Dale episode with Jeff Hiller.”

And she is not going to stop here. Dippold said, “There are so many characters there to learn more about. I always wanted it to feel like there was so much to explore on the island. Little nooks and crannies full of terror that you haven’t seen yet.” “And I really want to know more [Bechir]Kevin Carroll’s character. There will be more to do.”

we love carol since the leftoversSo we say a big yes to that idea too. Widow’s Bay The season one finale officially arrives on Apple TV tomorrow (technically tonight, thanks to the whims of streaming scheduling).
