We first loved the beautiful design of this art TV, but the video artwork also looks great and was easy to mount during setup. Amazon bills Ember Artline as an “entertainment hub and curated art gallery” that displays your favorite art, streams your favorite content, and manages your smart home system. The 4K QLED display with Dolby Vision support and HDR10+ delivers bright and clear video, while the matte screen finish reduces glare and supports the artwork look. In addition to rotating art, you can also showcase your personal photos that you can integrate with the Amazon Photos app or by asking Alexa.
Hisense TVs are the epitome of a mid-tier model that punches well above its weight. Mini-LED backlighting creates a brilliantly bright image, and it’s a particularly good choice for gamers due to its 165-Hz refresh rate and full-featured HDMI port. Our own testing didn’t yield perfect results, such as its uneven backlighting and average off-angle performance. But this is easily the best Prime Day TV deal, with the price dropped to a new low of just $850. -Luke Larson

Easily the smartest indoor security camera currently available, Google’s third-generation Nest Cam offers up to 2K resolution at 30 fps with indoor HDR and night vision. There’s also two-way audio, enforced two-factor authentication, and accurate detection to alert you to people, animals or vehicles. The Google Home Premium subscription is expensive at $10 per month ($100/year) for 30 days of event video history and familiar face alerts, but it covers all your Nest devices. —simon hill
