Not long ago, I was looking for something that could help get rid of stains on some of my most favorite clothes. In my search I came across the Philips Fabric Shaver and was pleasantly surprised to find that such a device existed – and in such a cute, compact form. I decided to give it a try and it is now an essential piece of technology in my home. Sure, this may not seem revolutionary – especially if you already know about the wonders of such devices – but it was for me. I have a lot of t-shirts, joggers, sweaters, and more that I’ve had for at least three years and wear regularly. We also have a bunch of throw blankets lying around the house, partly because I love a good throw, and partly because my cat demands soft places to sleep. All those well-worn, well-loved clothes have turned into pills over time, and I was tired of taking the pills myself.

This Philips fabric shaver makes it so I never have to do that again. It runs on two AA batteries, has a simple on-off switch, and a shaving head with three shaped holes that catches the pills as soon as you slide it over your sweater or blanket and removes them instantly. It’s really that simple; When I first tried it on joggers, I spent a lot of time running around my house and clearing out as many things from my closet as I could. All the small pieces of fabric are collected in a removable chamber which you can empty into the dustbin as often as you want.
