Thanks to his leadership, consistency, and professionalism, Mike Conley is one of the most respected players in professional basketball today.
He was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the fourth pick in the 2007 NBA draft. In 2019, after 12 seasons with the Grizzlies, Mike was traded to the Utah Jazz. How long have Mike and Mary been together and when did they get married
Mike and Mary met in 2007 when they were both students at Ohio State University, but they did not know much about basketball at the time.
“We went out and that was it. I never saw a single Ohio State basketball game,” Mary told Sportish.
That same year, Mike declared for the NBA draft. They got together after Mary graduated from college in 2010. The couple married in July 2014, and former NBA star Greg Oden served as Mike’s groomsmen.
Mike has a reputation in the league as an all-around “good guy”, and on top of that, Mary says, “We always stay true to who we are, which means always caring about others, being there for our team and putting them first.” She said that “constantly hearing stories from fans about how impactful my husband has been to their child or their family or the community” always makes her feel proud.
Mary also shared that although she feels incredibly lucky to be married to him, “They are also my expectations that I have set about who will be my life partner, who will be the father of my children.”
Mary’s career
Marie was born on July 29, 1987, in Kettering, Ohio, to parents Lewis Peluso and Elizabeth Peluso. His father served as a pilot in the US Air Force.
Mary was an athlete in high school as she played on the field hockey team.
At OSU, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
He served on the board of directors of the Methodist Healthcare Foundation, focusing on expanding the Sickle Cell Center. It is now called “The Mike and Mary Conley Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center”. She is also a fashion blogger and social media influencer, with over 40,000 followers. Mary previously ran a YouTube channel and a blog named “Living Larew” from 2012 to 2022.

Their first child, son Miles Alex Conley, was born on July 29, 2016. Two years later, the couple welcomed their second son, Noah Conley, born in 2018, followed by their third son, Elijah Michael Conley, born on August 16, 2020.
