HBO’s third season the last of us We already knew that work was going on. We don’t know if the show will go beyond that point, and recent comments from HBO head Casey Bloys aren’t helping.

As part of a longer interview related to HBO overall (some of which we’ve covered), Deadline asked Bloys how much gas the show had in the tank. the last of us part ii Its story has a lot of moving parts, and it was a longer game than its predecessor. If the show took a long time to adapt, it wouldn’t have happened He Surprising, even if it may upset both longtime fans and TV-only fans. For now, don’t worry too much about when it will end, just when it will return – which currently isn’t until 2027… hopefully without remaking those first seasons.
