At first, it was played for members of the press. Next, it played at CinemaCon. After that, Disney uploaded a part of it on Disney+. On Monday night, it’s screening in theaters for fans, and now part of it is also online, which you can watch below.
And, of course, moments from this scene are scattered throughout all the trailers released. yes, the first few minutes The Mandalorian and Grogu It has become the centerpiece of Disney’s marketing for the film, which we believe has its own advantages and disadvantages.
On one hand, keeping the movie such a secret makes going to the theater even more exciting. We still have no real idea of what kind of adventure Mando and Grogu are in store for. Plus, it’s a very fun action scene. which clearly brings to mind Empire Strikes BackWith all the snow and AT-ATs, but also totally feels The Mandalorian.
On the other hand, what is being hidden here? Is there something exciting being withheld, or is this the best thing in the movie? You get a kind of liveliness from it. Wouldn’t a clip from another scene set people’s imaginations racing with potential and possibility? However, our educated guess about all this is that a big part of the film is being kept under wraps. And, we think, it focuses on Mando and Grogu teaming up with Rota the Hutt for an adventure. The three of them, together, and the filmmakers don’t exactly want any of this to come out. But we also think, if it’s actually true, it could be a very fun and interesting glimpse.
However, ultimately, it depends on how you prefer to consume movies before their release. If you like any level of spoilers, this is torture. The same scene, over and over, that reveals absolutely nothing. However, if you hate spoilers, it’s pretty exciting to know what you’ve seen in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Surely, there will be many more surprises in store in the remaining 110 minutes.
Which side of the argument are you on? Do you want us to see more movies? Or is sticking with this scene a smart play to keep us guessing? Let us know below.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Will open on 22nd May.
