The episodes will end on June 25.

It’s been more than two years since Netflix’s live-action premiere Avatar The Last Airbender. The second season will finally stream on June 25 and the platform has released an action-packed trailer.

It is more or less a one-to-one remake of the cartoon, so the second season of the live-action show is following the second season of the original. Fans know what that means. The legendary Earthbender Toph makes her triumphant appearance, and is seen teaching Aang tricks throughout the trailer.

Netflix has also released a version of the trailer with audio description, presumably because Top is visually impaired. I think this is a good idea that shouldn’t only be used if the main character of a show is blind. People with vision problems see all kinds of things. just saying.

The show has already been picked up for a third and possibly final season. Netflix has really done a good job with this. The first season was surprisingly watchable. Was it as good as the original? Not exactly, but it was miles better than M. Night Shyamalan’s 2009 adaptation.

After a difficult development period, franchise creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are no longer involved with the Netflix show. However, they are working on several projects set in the world of Avatar. Nickelodeon has a new animated show coming to the sequel that takes place after the series legend of korra.

There is also a feature length animated film that will be available for streaming this October. The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender Follows Aang, Toph and the gang as adults. The film has already caused controversy after it was leaked online by an enterprising hacker last month. He has since been arrested. The suspect pleaded guilty and said he did it because the movie was “just a Paramount+ thing, so I decided I’d troll a little.”
