Analog has released a new firmware update for its Analog 3D console that adds a Memories Save State feature. Memories, first introduced with its handheld Analog Pockets, allows you to save at any moment and resume from the same exact location later, rather than having to reach a specific point in the game to save your progress. This feature will also help alleviate some headaches with saving game progress on Analog 3D as its Virtual Controller Pak option is still not available when using original or wired N64 controllers.
Other welcome updates to Analog 3D added this year include improved support for multi-title flash carts, allowing the console to detect when players switch to a different game to create personalized Virtual Controller Pak saves, and improved HDR capabilities that better simulate the look of old school CRT TVs on modern OLED displays.
