Those who prefer earbuds with stems, those who want great ANC for under $100, those looking for excellent battery life, and anyone who wants an all-around pair of earbuds that are just as useful at the gym as they are at the office, should opt for the EarFun Air Pro 4.

The EarFun Air Pro 4s are an easy choice as an affordable AirPods alternative — these are Mashable’s favorite ANC earbuds for under $100, after all. Performance-wise, they will be more in line with the AirPods 4, but fit-wise, they will be more similar to the AirPods Pro 3, thanks to silicone ear tips that position more firmly in the ear canal. Honestly, this is a plus – the AirPods 4 can be more hit-or-miss in fitting different ear sizes. Beyond the design, these earbuds have impressive ANC powered by six internal microphones. Plus, it’s adjustable. I can’t say that I noticed massive differences between the different tiers, but still, I appreciated that there was flexibility. Like the Sony XM6 buds, the earphones mirror Apple when it comes to customizing the sound profile, thanks to the custom equalizer and presets. Especially for the price point, the sound is surprisingly strong, clear and dynamic. Maybe not at Apple’s level, but not far off either. Ultimately, you’ll get seven and a half to eight hours of battery life per charge, plus an additional 27 and a half hours with the case, making it a great choice for those who use their earbuds around the clock and run out of battery more often than they’d like.
Strength: These earbuds are already $79.99, but are almost always on sale for $62.99, and sometimes even lower, at $53.99.
What you might forget: Despite the similar design to the AirPods, EarFun opts for touch controls on these earbuds, which are mildly consistent and downright inconsistent in operation. While testing the buds, I turned off the touch controls because I found them a little frustrating to use. The case is also larger, making the earbuds not as portable as AirPods.
