In the video, I saw that the speed of Butler’s Tesla was continuously increasing, and the amount of pressure being applied to the accelerator pedal was also increasing in speed. In approximately six (6) seconds, the accelerator pedal was pressed to 100%, “putting the pedal to the metal” and the vehicle reached a speed of 73 mph, which was more than twice the speed limit on that residential street. The Tesla continued straight down the middle of the cul-de-sac, struck the edge of the complainant’s driveway, and went airborne towards the front of the house… I observed that the brake pedal was never depressed in the last minutes before the accident.”
