QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. (KWQC) – First Alert Weather Team is tracking strong to severe storms Wednesday evening with the threat of possible spin-up tornadoes, damaging wind and hail.
The storm is expected to be widespread and arrive between 4 and 9 p.m.
The entire TV6 viewing area is under Level 2 risk, with all types of severe weather possible.

- 8:44 pm A severe storm capable of producing tornadoes was located 8 miles north of Marston, or Aledo, Illinois, moving east at 25 mph.
- 8:33 pm A severe storm capable of producing tornadoes was located by radar 8 miles west of Blue Grass or Davenport, moving east at 35 mph.
- 8:32 pm Tornado warnings have been issued for Rock Island County in Illinois, Scott and Muscatine Counties in Iowa until 9 p.m.
- 8:28 pm A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for southwestern Rock Island and northern Mercer counties in Illinois and central Louisa, southeastern Cedar, southwestern Scott and eastern Muscatine counties in Iowa until 8:45 p.m.

- 8:25 pm A tornado warning has been issued for southwestern Rock Island and northwestern Mercer County in Illinois until 9:15 p.m.
- 8:21 pm The severe storm warning has ended for Louisa County. Tornado watch remains in effect until 9 p.m.
- 8:17 pm According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Route 84 north of Savannah, Illinois near Mississippi Palisades State Park is impassable. Trees and other debris are blocking roadways due to the storm. Crews are responding to the area.
- 8:12 pm A tornado warning has been issued for Lee County in Iowa and Hancock County in Illinois until 9 p.m.
- 8:05 pm A confirmed tornado was observed moving east at 35 mph about 8 miles northeast of Letts, Iowa or Columbus Junction.
- 8:03 pm A tornado warning has been issued for Rock Island and Mercer counties in Illinois and Louisa and Muscatine counties in Iowa until 8:30 p.m.
- 7:59 pm A storm spotter near Letts, Iowa reported a tornado on the ground that was headed toward Muscatine.
- 7:51 pm A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Rock Island and Mercer counties in Illinois and Louisa, Cedar, Scott and Muscatine counties in Iowa until 8:45 p.m.
- 7:08 pm A severe storm warning has been issued for parts of Louisa County in Iowa until 8:15 p.m.
- at 7 pm A flash flood warning has been issued for Dubuque County in Iowa and northwestern Jo Daviess County in Illinois until 1 p.m. Thursday.
- 6:45 pm The tornado warning has expired in Jo Daviess County.
- 6:35 pm The National Weather Service said a severe storm capable of producing tornadoes was moving northeast at 25 mph about 2 miles south of Winslow.
- 6:05 pm A tornado warning has been issued for northeastern Jo Daviess County in Illinois until 6:45 p.m.
- 3:35 pm A Tornado Watch has been issued for the following counties until 9 p.m.: Dubuque, Jackson, Lee, Muscatine, Clinton, Henry, Scott, Cedar, Des Moines and Louisa in Iowa; Rock Island and Joe Davis in Illinois
- 12:38 pm A flood watch has been issued until midnight for Jackson and Dubuque counties in Iowa and Jo Daviess and Carroll counties in Illinois.
