Paramount+ unveils a new teaser for the upcoming fourth season Star Trek: Strange New Worlds At CCXP in Mexico City over the weekend.

the third season of strange new world It was definitely a little uneven, with some downright silly storylines mixed in with the serious storylines, which left fans divided. Possibly the most important moment was Melanie Scrofano’s farewell to Mary Bethel, Pike’s (Anson Mount) girlfriend. Her farewell gift to Pike: a hallucinatory alternate life where she and Pike grow old together. So expect Pike to have to deal with his loss, in addition to other challenges, in the upcoming season.
The four-and-a-half-minute clip for S4 was unveiled at New York Comic-Con last October. This was an extended sequence in which Pike and his crew respond to a distress signal from another ship, only to encounter a massive space storm that destroys almost all of their systems. They decide to take a shuttle to a nearby planet to collect some much-needed iridium to power their warp drive. We also know there will be a puppet episode, and if the new teaser is any indication, it’ll have a Wild West-like setting and even dinosaurs, because why not? Overall though, the new teaser seems to confirm the return of a more serious Trekkie tone.
