Saturday – There is a chance of a few early morning storms across southern Kansas right around dawn, but they will dissipate quickly. Sunshine will return to most areas in the afternoon as southerly winds increase.
sunday – Heat is the main focus of the weekend and there is a Hurricane Team 12 Weather Warning as it looks like temperatures will reach near 105. Strong southerly winds above 30 mph are expected across much of the state.
monday – Dangerous heat is expected to continue with steady southerly winds across much of the region.
