Vibe-coding right in your pocket.
It appears that Meta has soft-launched a new app called Pocket which aims to inspire people to vibe-code their own minigames. Mobile developer and reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi spotted Pocket and posted about it to X today, but reporting platform AppFigure reported techcrunch The app is available on both iOS and Android from June 29. Although the app is publicly listed, it’s not available on any of the half-dozen phone models linked to our Google accounts in the US, and a support page on Meta’s site says “The Pocket app is not available everywhere yet.”
The company has not yet made any public announcement about the launch or where the app is being tested. We have reached out for comment and will update this post when we receive a response.

From cosmetic changes to a standalone app for AI Slope, Meta has been increasingly working to bring artificial intelligence to its services over the past year. techcrunch It’s been suggested that Pockets may be the result of the company hiring the bulk of the team behind Gizmo earlier this year, an app that uses AI to create interactive experiences based on users’ cues. Pocket uses exactly the same nomenclature, dubbing itself “a creative platform for creating and sharing gizmos” in the app listing, and the Play Store shortcode of “com.facebook.gizmo” also does little to dispel this impression.
