
Before and during the weekend, CD Projekt Red and Netflix lifted the curtain on the upcoming anime. Things started on Thursday, June 25 with a weakened Kingsley, a longtime edgerunner who was once “at the top of his game” and is now “living in a shadow of his former glory.” On Friday, June 26, we found a Netrunner D for the Snake Nation nomad group, who was once the owner of the Bakers (V’s family), if you choose the nomad path cyberpunk 2077). Where King was swept away, Dee is a young man searching for the killer who destroyed his clan.
Saturday, June 27 brought us Roman Carax, a young cinephile who was documenting what is happening in Night City. (interesting thing edgerunner Writer Bartosz Sztybor described him as a “love letter to cinema” and later confirmed that he was inspired by Rocket, the main character of the 2002 film. City of God.) And finally, we found Talia Yang, a woman from the Corpo side of life, on Sunday, June 28.[whose] The heart is of chrome and violence. There are other silhouettes in the character art below, but these appear to be the main cast of the show.

At the time of writing, we don’t know who’s voicing these characters or what’s bringing them together—that’s what the trailer is for.
