MAPPA’s 15th Birthday Was Full of New Anime Teases

Since its founding on June 14, 2011, Mappa has become one of the largest anime studios. From Jujutsu Kaisen To attack on Titan And chainsaw man, Much of its shonen output has catapulted it to prominence despite accusations of lacklusterness and long waits between seasons. To celebrate its 15th birthday, the studio wants everyone to know what it’s working on next—just don’t ask When? It is coming.

As part of its 15th anniversary celebration, Mappa released trailers for the sequel jujitsu caisson And Chainsaw man. The first continues the “Culling Game” arc that played out in the previous season, featuring scenes that highlight several major fights, including some that change the course of the series. And while they don’t get a lot of attention, there are two non-action scenes…well, things are really about to change for Yuji and everyone else.

During this time, chainsaw man Fans have a “killer” arc to look forward to. The teaser spends its time setting up Denji’s next big problem. After beating Rage and breaking his heart, devil hunters from all over the world are coming to Japan to kill him. These hired killers include three American brothers, a Chinese hunter under the command of the Fiends, and a young man and his boss. At the time of writing, it is still unclear whether “Assassins” will be another movie or a full season.

Finally, we get a little glimpse of it dorohedoro Season three. The second season of the anime ended just last month, and it didn’t take long for Mappa to confirm that more is in the works. Of the three anime, this one doesn’t look that far ahead – halfway through, the trailer turns into a storyboard for what will likely be Wild Season for fans to experience.

No release date yet Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, And Dorohedoro, But we’ll have more details on each of them as news comes out. You can check out its future non-shonen offerings here. At least one of these—currently dubbed Jimoto Saiko-Will be exclusive to Netflix.
