Jeffrey Epstein was permanently banned from Xbox Live

Would you be surprised to know that Microsoft booted Jeffrey Epstein from its online gaming platform? as seen XboxEraThe latest batch of Epstein’s emails show that in December 2013, he was “permanently suspended due to harassment, threats, and/or abuse of other players.”

But it appears the real reason may be simpler: A second email sent to Epstein from Microsoft the same day reveals that he was banned because he was a registered sex offender, and because Microsoft was among the companies that agreed to remove registered sex offenders from its systems.

However, it is unclear whether Epstein himself played Xbox. In July 2014, he asked his executive assistant “Do we have an Xbox 360 Kinect?” And this email in 2016 appears to be a discussion of buying an Xbox as a surprise birthday gift for a guy. In 2019, one message read, “Why is there a $25.24 fee on Xbox?”
