Photos and details of Samsung’s upcoming smart glasses have been leaked, . We knew these were there, but now we can have actual photos and they look great. The glasses are reportedly being developed under the codename “Jinju” and could be priced between $380 to $500.
These are the first smart glasses from Samsung and will likely offer a similar feature set in the future. Will run on Samsung’s specs and will likely feature heavy integration with the Google Gemini chatbot.
It has been reported that these glasses will not feature a display, but it is likely to arrive with another pair in 2027. The second release is being developed under the codename “Hain” and will reportedly include a micro-LED display, allowing some similar functionality. These can cost anywhere from $600 to $900.
We don’t know when Jinju Glasses will launch, but it’s a safe bet sometime later this year. Samsung has a major one. We may get some official details at that time, though it’s unlikely the smart glasses will launch alongside things like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Watch 9.
It’s more likely that we’ll get a teaser at the event that will be launched later in the year. Samsung did the same thing last year.
It is also reported that the Jinju Glass will include a 12MP camera, Snapdragon AR1 chip, and directional speakers with bone-conduction technology. Of course, these specifications are subject to change before launch. It is also highly possible that the price will rise above the above limit, thanks to this.
