Jacksonville, Florida. – After a cool morning, mostly cloudy and dry skies will lead to temperatures rising into the upper 60s across Southeast Georgia and into the low 70s across Northeast Florida. These temperatures will be about 10 degrees warmer than Friday.
With moisture returning, a light shower can’t be ruled out along the coast, but for most, dry conditions will continue with northeast winds of 15-20 mph, with gusts in the low 20s, keeping the air slightly cooler. Beaches in Northeast Florida are at risk of rip currents late Saturday night.
Big football game today in Gainesville, the Florida State Seminoles will play the Florida Gators. Highs will be in the mid 60s under mostly cloudy, dry skies.
After a cool morning, fog may develop west of I-95 and across Southeast Georgia Sunday morning with temperatures in the upper 40s above zero.
The next chance for significant rainfall will be Monday night into Tuesday, with possibly up to an inch of rain across Southeast Georgia. Cooler weather will return late next week.
