
In a new featurette, Tom Holland and director Destin Daniel Cretton discuss the process that went into recreating these covers. He revealed that the scenes were filmed at 420 frames per second, which is “impossible” to act in, but perfect for an attention-grabbing shot or two. With Holland attached, it only took “two or three times” for the actor to nail the pose, which was a true eye-opening moment for Cretton. To mimic the cover of Scorpion uppercutting Spidey, Holland had to do a “reverse swan dive”. [while] We’re throwing it in the air towards the camera. It was a real awakening to how much control Tom has over every muscle in his body.”
