A 31-year-old American Airlines flight attendant was found dead on a South Florida beach, and authorities say her injuries were consistent with a plane strike.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) identified the woman as Kelly Melinda Williams, whose body was found in the ocean near Hollywood Beach on June 3 at around 8 p.m.
According to the agency, Williams’ injuries were consistent with being struck by a boat.
The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
ABC News has contacted FWC for comment.
Authorities said two fishermen spotted Williams’ body near the North Boardwalk and Thomas Street and immediately notified police.

Williams, originally from California, worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines.
In a statement to ABC News on Sunday, the airline said, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague. Our thoughts and support are with his family, loved ones and colleagues at this time.”
