Bemidji State loses high-scoring game to Florida Southern

LAKELAND, Florida – Despite three players scoring 20 points, the Bemidji State men’s basketball team couldn’t hold off Florida Southern on Saturday.

Bemidji State split the Thanksgiving Classic in Lakeland, Florida, losing 99–92 to Florida Southern.

Three players scored more than 20 points: John Pekarich had 25, Henry Shannon III had 24 and Austin Josephson had 20. Pekarych shot 6 of 10 from beyond the arc, a team high.

Josephson earned a double-double with his 14 rebounds, which led the Beavers. Isaac Severts was right behind, grabbing 11 rebounds.
