Beatbot Pool-Cleaning Robots Are on Sale for a Limited Time

it was about Time of year. National Pool Opening Day is tomorrow, April 25, and summer is almost here, which means pool owners everywhere are getting ready to unveil the horrors of what happened during the off-season. Most of the Beatbot lineup is on sale on Amazon and Beatbot’s own storefront, with prices starting at $499. BeatBot makes many of the best pool-cleaning robots we’ve tested, and we’ve highlighted our top picks below. Note that the discount is set to end on April 26, although items may sell out sooner. Happy pool party season! (Send me an invitation!)

Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra at $2,649 ($500 off)

  • Image may contain: electronics, phone and mobile phone
  • Image may contain: car, transportation, vehicle, tool, equipment and electrical equipment

Our favorite robotic pool cleaner overall, the AquaSense 2 Ultra has what WIRED contributor Chris Null calls “near-perfect cleaning capabilities.” It has six hours of battery life and AI-powered debris detection capabilities, and can clean floors, walls, and waterlines. You will also get a charging stand. Keep in mind that this cleaner weighs about 30 pounds, so be sure to eat your protein so you can get it out of the water when you’re done. Even though it floats, it can still feel quite heavy. AI debris detection sets this model apart, as do five cleaning brushes and the obviously larger battery capacity. If you want the coolest pool cleaner we’ve tested, and you don’t want to pay full price, this deal is for you.

Beatbot Sora 30 for $749 ($200 off)

  • Image may contain: BeatBot Sora 30 Pool Cleaning Robot
  • Image may contain: car, transportation, vehicle, tool, appliance, power tool and vacuum cleaner

The Beatbot Sora 30 offers great value for the price. It fluctuates between this discounted price and its full thousand-dollar MSRP, and we have yet to see it sell for a lower price than it does right now. It has excellent battery life and enough power and features for daily pool cleaning needs for most users. It doesn’t have a surface skimmer—you might want to replace the more expensive Sora 70 (on sale for $1,200; $300 off) for that—but otherwise it’s capable of cleaning your pool’s floor, walls, and waterline. It’s easy to use with the companion app, and it stays afloat once cleaned for easy retrieval. If you don’t need a surface skimmer or don’t want to drop a ton of cash, this go-between robot is worth considering.

iSkim Ultra Robotic Pool Skimmer

The best surface skimmers have sensors that prevent it from hitting the walls of your pool while cleaning. Unlike many other robots in this category, it actually slows down and turns while skimming. There’s a basket-eject button on the front that sometimes gets pressed by accident, though this may not be a problem depending on the size of your pool, and it’s not so much a deal-breaker as it is something to be aware of. Go for this model if you want to keep your pool surface clean automatically, but you don’t mind manually cleaning the walls and floor.
