About a.k.a The DLES.gg Manifesto – Blog

oh hi! You were asking why this website exists?

TLDR: It has 2 goals.

  1. To be the best place for daily gamers to discover new things game Daily Reasoning Exercises (DLES).
  2. To be the best place for daily game creators to launch their new wordley clone Unique games.

How did it all start, you ask?

Ok, about 3 years ago I accidentally made a little daily game rotabox – It’s awesome, ~5k monthly players, very comfortable and I have a lot of fun working on it in my free time. Some time ago I noticed some traffic coming from sites that looked specifically like DLES aggregators dles.aukspot.com. So of course I went there and discovered many more daily sports that I never knew about. At that time I only played Wordle, Nerdley and Rotabox every day. And I was hooked – I started playing 5 to 10 DLEs every day, and I kept noting down the good DLEs and playing them regularly. So that’s how my little DLE collection began. I started categorizing, grouping, sorting and most importantly, I created my own daily ritual.

Then I was browsing Reddit and saw some people complaining about playing so many games daily that they forget to play some and lose their rhythm, so I thought – hmm, maybe my ritual could be helpful to others. I made a plan and started building. Today, almost 1 year later, the site serves thousands of players monthly and introduces 3 to 4 new daily games every week. This is crazy, isn’t it?

Some rules, so we understand each other.

  1. All games listed on Dles.gg have been manually played and tested by me.
  2. I don’t list games that aren’t daily.
  3. I do not list games that are not browser based.
  4. I do not list games that are not free to play.
  5. I don’t list games I don’t like.
  6. I don’t care if you built your game by hand, pixel by pixel, or if you used AI tools to create it or generate assets – but I hate sloppiness. If the game lacks love, care, and proud ownership of a human being behind it, I wouldn’t list it.
  7. I make subjective decisions on whether to list a game based on several criteria (I’ll write about these later).

How can you help?

If you regularly play a game that isn’t in my collection, submit it Here.

If you’ve made a game that isn’t in my collection, submit it there too (ha, it’s the same place).

If you like a game – add it to your ritual. You will never forget playing it and this will increase the popularity of the game and help it rank higher most popular Section. If you feel strongly about a game, rate it! 5 stars for must play, 1 star for avoidable, and nothing in between. This helps other players find the best games top rated Section.

As you can imagine, it is almost impossible to play all 839 Games every day, and as we all know, maintaining daily games is a lot of work – so sometimes, some games stop working. If you see one please click on it report broken button. I check these regularly and remove games from the site if they are no longer active. Thank you.

If you would like your favorite game to be featured, get in touch peter@dles.gg – We’ll figure something out.

Oh, and you’re asking how you can personally help? Wonderful! Submit games, rate games, add them to your ritual – it all helps others so much! Share your ritual with your friends. If you want to support this site financially, I accept coffee donations BuyMeACoffee (By the way, this will also unlock everything rotaboxes.com Archive for you).

So really that’s it. Happy solution.

-Peter
