Upcoming Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) Game Spellcaster’s Chronicles Will be available to play as a closed beta starting December 4th until December 8th. This is the first closed beta weekend and first online play test for the free-to-play game since it was originally announced a few months ago.

In other words, a 3 vs 3 MOBA in a third-person perspective is an odd duck and we don’t know how it’ll play out. Luckily, we’ll know a lot more next weekend. The closed beta takes place on Steam and provides access to six player classes, each with unique abilities. These classes can “summon creatures, cast spells, and fight to take over the arena.” There is a class called “Swamp Witch” that I would love to play.
The beta will also unveil a new area called The Mausoleum and introduce a deck-building component to the game. Arena battles will last 25 minutes, with teams tasked with capturing altars to capture enemy territory.
