‘Y: Marshals’ Trailer: Kayce Dutton Rides Again

CBS has released the first full trailer for “Y: Marshals.”

The upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff series will debut on March 1, 2026 on CBS. Luke Grimes will star in the series, reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. In the trailer, Kayce begins by saying, “I fought every day to get out of the burden of Yellowstone. I’ve lost my teammates, my parents, even my brothers. I know sometimes good people have to do bad things. But I’m trying to find a fresh start.”

The show’s logline reads, “With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.”

Along with Grimes, the show’s cast includes Logan Marshall-Green, Ariel Kebbell, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, and Brett Cullen. Fellow “Yellowstone” alums Bracken Merrill, Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty will also reprise their roles on the CBS show.

“Y: Marshals” was ordered to series at CBS in May for the 2025–2026 broadcast season. The initial episode is being written by Spencer Hudnutt and directed by Greg Yattens. Hudnutt also serves as executive producer and showrunner. “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan executive produces for 101 Studios alongside David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Grimes, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Greg Yettens, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox. Paramount Television Studios will produce. The series will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
