Pawan Davuluri, Microsoft’s president of Windows and Devices, posted a tweet promoting an event from the company and promising that Windows will soon evolve to incorporate even more AI. Davuluri posted that Windows will soon have “agents”, which is an AI buzzword that basically means it can perform certain tasks autonomously.
“Windows is evolving into an agentic OS, connecting devices, cloud, and AI to unlock intelligent productivity and secure work anywhere,” he posted on X.

Whatever Davuluri had hoped, people were not thrilled with becoming the “agent” of their operating system.
