Black Friday is today, November 28, 2025 and shoppers are getting ready to fill their carts with products at mouth-watering discounts. Although the task of shopping for products that you’ve been eyeing all year long seems fulfilling, it can be tiring. For a quick energy boost, you can stop at your local Starbucks and enjoy a discounted drink too!
Starbucks remains open on Black Friday 2025, but with varying hours. The Starbucks Reserve at the Empire State Building is open from 6:30 am to 10 pm, the outlet at 61 9th Avenue, New York is open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.
The Chicago Roastery, located at 646 Michigan Avenue, is open from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm. Their outlet in San Antonio is open from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. Another Starbucks coffeehouse is located at 24 Boynton Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
There are no fixed opening hours for Starbucks. You can find the opening hours of your nearest outlet by using the Starbucks store locator, searching on Google Maps or contacting the location directly.
Black Friday shoppers at Target will enjoy Starbucks’ newly released Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate
On November 17, 2025, a press release from Starbucks announced that starting November 18, 2025, Starbucks coffeehouses located at Target will offer Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate. The newly introduced Starbucks drink is a Creme Cappuccino blended with mocha sauce, milk and ice, layered over peppermint-flavored whipped cream with splashes of red and green.
Alicia Binion of the company’s beverage development team said the festive-looking drink was introduced just to create something fun for targeted guests.
He further said:
“Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate is a delicious drink that brings together rich chocolate and cool peppermint flavor as well as splashes of red and green for color and crunch. It’s a sweet way to stop during the holiday rush and enjoy a little seasonal happiness.”
The drink will be available throughout the holiday season.
