Where to watch Iowa women’s basketball vs. Western Illinois today

Iowa (6-0) made the biggest jump in the latest USA TODAY Sports women’s basketball coaches poll. The Hawkeyes are ranked 14th, a jump of six spots after the win over then-No. 10 Baylor and Miami at the WBCA Showcase in Orlando, Florida.

Second-year center Ava Hayden led the Hawkeyes in their wins over Baylor and Miami. The 6-foot-4 center averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Hayden shot 64% from the field over the two contests.

Iowa second-year guard Chit-Chat Wright suffered an upper body injury in the second half against Baylor. Wright’s injury status remains day-to-day and he did not practice on Monday.

With Wright’s status unclear, Iowa will likely turn to a combination of second-year guard Taylor Stremlow and freshman Eddie Deal to log some of the minutes vacated by Wright.
